this web site and all the creative juices that have flown through it are in honor of my sister Cecilia. she taught me how to spell *phew*, to explore the woods in my backyard, and delight in the tiniest of discoveries. without her inspiration and belief in me, girlywhirly© would be stuck in a sharpie in my desk drawer. thank you, Cecilia, for looking out for me. i hope you know you're in my heart.
